Union County Criminal and Civil Records

The Circuit and District Courts handle all criminal and civil cases in Union County. Individuals can find records of these cases in person at the court where the case was handled. The Circuit and District Courts accept criminal and civil court record requests from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All record seekers should be willing to complete a records form and pay the necessary copying fees for the record to be released to them. Union County Marriage and Divorce Records

The Union County Clerk makes marriage records accessible to the public at the office from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This clerk maintains this Union County public record from 1885 to the present. A copy of a Union County marriage certificate costs $1, and a certified copy costs $5. Copies of divorce records can also be obtained in person but at the Circuit Clerk’s office. • Walk-in: Record seekers can place an order for birth and death records by visiting the Vital Records Division from Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The staff will fulfill requests on the same day for customers arriving by 4:00 p.m. with acceptable IDs. Those who arrive at the office past 4:00 p.m. can pick up their request the next day or may ask that it be mailed. Fees can be paid by credit or debit cards, cash, check, or money order.
